Foothill Kennel strives to breed and own only the finest examples of the Pudelpointer breed.

We spare no expense in our training and breeding program.

Pudelpointers outperform all other breeds in hunt tests. Pudelpointers can hunt anything.We breed a truly world class versatile hunting dog and companion dog.

All of our adult dogs are trained and tested in duck hunting/retrieving, upland bird hunting, being steady on point, shoot, flush and fall. Our adult dogs are trained and tested for tracking, and used for tracking big game.

Our Pudelpointers come from the best diversified genetic backgrounds. All of our dogs are fantastic hunting dogs as well as our children's pets. Our dogs come from Kansas,South Dakota, and Canada.

We try to sell our puppies to select future owners, attempting to match a puppy's temperament to the needs and capabilities of the new owner.

We sell only to hunters.

Foothill Kennels is located about 50 miles north of Atlanta Ga. on Lake Lanier.

Aproximately 50% of our puppies are shipped to the new owners.

We are active members of the NAVHDA testing and training association. So far all of our dogs have scored maximum or near maximum scores in the NAVHDA field trial hunt tests.

Foothill Kennel breeds only in accordance with the strict guidelines of the North American Pudelpointer Alliance. All of our adult dogs hips are tested, are are HD free.
